Tour Itinerary

Day 01 : Arrival Delhi : arrival at New Delhi International Airport, Our representative will receive you and transfer you to your hotel for overnight stay.

Day 2 Delhi : This morning after breakfast your guide will take you on a tour of Old & New Delhi. The older part of the Capital takes you to the Red Fort with its Pearl Mosque and exquisite audience halls, Jama Masjid Mosque with its marble domes and slender minarets, Chandni Chowk, Raj Ghat - memorial site where Mahatma Gandhi was cremated, the Ashoka Pillar, Qutab Minar - the tallest brick minaret in the world and an important example of Indo-Islamic Architecture built in 1193 A.D, Humayun's tomb, Rajpath, past the imposing India Gate, Parliament House and the President's Residence. Overnight stay at Hotel in Delhi.

Day 3 Delhi - Jaipur : In the morning pick up from hotel & transfer to railway station to board the superfast air-conditioned train to Jaipur. Breakfast will be served on the train. Arrive Jaipur and transfer to your hotel. Later proceed for a sightseeing tour of the 'Pink City'.

City Palace - the former Royal residence part of it converted into a museum. A small portion is still used by the Royal family of Jaipur. Built in the style of a fortified campus, the palace covers almost one-seventh in area of the city. The main entrance leads to the courtyard at the centre which is the Mubarak Mahal. One of the major attractions in the museum is the portion known as Armoury Museum housing an impressive array of weaponry-pistols, blunderbusses, flintlocks, swords, rifles and daggers.

Jantar Mantar - Visit the largest stone and marble crafted observatory in the world built between 1728 to 1734 by Jai Singh. Situated near the gate of the city palace, the observatory has 17 large instruments, many of them still in working condition.

Hawa Mahal - or the palace of winds was built by Maharaja Sawai Pratap Singh in 1799. The pyramid-shaped facade with five stories has 953 small windows decorated with tiny lattice work. These pink sandstone windows commonly known as "Jharokhas" are constructed in such a style, that it looks like a giant honeycomb. The air circulation through windows represents the marvelous touch of Mughal designing, which keeps the Palace cool. Overnight stay at hotel in Jaipur.

Day 4 Jaipur- Agra :

In the morning visit the spectacular Amber Fort, a fortress-palace protecting a complex of palaces, temples, exquisite marble and mirror-inlaid halls and apartments.It is a classic example of Rajput architecture. The highlight of the tour is an elephant ride up the hill to the Fort like a Maharaja ! Later drive to Agra and en-route visit Fatehpur Sikri - the deserted city which was built by Emperor Akbar in 1569, in honour of the great Saint Sheikh Salim Chisti who blessed Akbar and prophesized the birth of three sons to the heirless Emperor. Arrive Agra & transfer to your hotel. Rest of the evening at leisure. Overnight stay at hotel in Agra.



Day 5 Agra-Varanasi : Visit the magnificent Taj Mahal at sunrise built by Shah Jahan in 1630 for his queen Mumtaz Mahal to enshrine her mortal remains. This architectural marvel is a perfectly proportioned masterpiece fashioned from white marble that stands testimony to the skill of 20,000 craftsmen brought together from Persia, Turkey, France and Italy and who took 17 year to complete this 'Love Poem in Marble'. Also visit the Red fort - the Afternoon visit the Agra Fort, built by Emperor Akbar between 1565 & 1573, which reveals the Mughal talent for combining defensive architecture with beauty and design. This fort palace was begun by Akbar as a purely defensive citadel and was subsequently completed by two successive generations that added the delicate mosaic and magnificent marble palaces. Later transfer to the railway station to board the overnight train to Varanasi.


Day 6 Varanasi : Arrive Varanasi (also known as Banaras or Kashi), is said to be India's oldest and most sacred city situated on the bank of the holy river Ganga. It is also the oldest continuously inhabited city in the world. As a place for devotion and worship, with hundreds of devotees offering their prayers at sunrise, set against the backdrop of centuries old temples can be a spiritually uplifting sight. Varanasi is a city which cannot be described, only experienced. Our representative will meet you at the railway station and transfer you to your hotel. Later visit the Temples, Alamagir Mosque and the Banaras Hindu University - largest residential university of Asia. In the evening witness the 'Aarti' ceremony on the sacred Ghats. Overnight stay at Hotel in Varanasi.

Day 07 : Varanasi : In the morning take a boat cruise on the river Ganges and observe the way of life of the pilgrims. Later drive to Sarnath, 13kms. north east of Varanasi, is one of the Buddhist centers of India. Visit the Dhamekh Stupa where Buddha gave his first cermon after enlightenment, Chaukhandi Stupa, the deer park, Sarnath Archeological Museum and later drive back to Varanasi. Overnight stay at hotel in Varanasi.

Day 08 : Varanasi - Delhi : After a leisure breakfast transfer to airport for your flight to Delhi. Arrive Delhi and transfer to your hotel. Night stay at Hotel in Delhi.

Day 09 : Departure : Transfer to the airport for your onward journey. This is a personalised tour which can be started at your convinience any time of the year. Your transport/guides will be with you throught the tour. You can depart leisurely with the benefits of having a private air-conditioned car, stop en-route for breaks / photography sessions.
