Tour Itinerary

Day 01 : Arrival Delhi : On arrival at New Delhi - The modern day capital of the largest democracy in the world, Our representative will receive you and transfer you to your hotel for overnight stay.

Day 2 Delhi : This morning after breakfast your guide will take you on a tour of Old & New Delhi. The older part of the Capital takes you to the Red Fort with its Pearl Mosque and exquisite audience halls, Jama Masjid Mosque with its marble domes and slender minarets; Raj Ghat - memorial site where Mahatma Gandhi was cremated, the Ashoka Pillar, Qutab Minar - the tallest brick minaret in the world and an important example of Indo-Islamic Architecture built in 1193 A.D, Humayun's tomb, Rajpath, past the imposing India Gate, Parliament House and the President's Residence. Overnight stay at Hotel in Delhi.

Day 3 Delhi - Agra : Early morning pick up from hotel & transfer to railway station to board the superfast air-conditioned Shatabdi Express to Agra. Breakfast will be served in the train, Arrive Agra in approx. 02 hours & visit the resplendant Taj Mahal - Agra is famous as being home to one of the Seven Wonders of the World The Taj Mahal. It was built by Shah Jahan in 1630 for his queen Mumtaz Mahal to enshrine her mortal remains. This architectural marvel is a perfectly proportioned masterpiece fashioned from white marble that stands testimony to the skill of 20,000 craftsmen brought together from Persia, Turkey, France and Italy and who took 17 year to complete this 'Love Poem in Marble'.

Also visit the 16th century Agra Fort, which houses a number of exquisite buildings: the Moti Masjid (pearl mosque), Diwane-I-Aam (palace for general audience), Diwane-I-Khas (palace for private audience), Anguri Bagh (wine yard), Sheesh Mahal (hall of mirrors), and the Musamman Bhurj (Jasmine Tower) where Shah Jahan died as a prisoner of his own son. Day 4 Agra - Jaipur :

In the morning take a leisure drive to Jaipur, en-route visit Fatehpur Sikri - the deserted city which was built by Emperor Akbar in 1569, in honour of the great Saint Sheikh Salim Chisti who blessed Akbar and prophesized the birth of three sons to the heirless Emperor. Also visit the Bulund Darwaza the largest gateway in the world. Thereafter, continue your drive to Jaipur. Arrive Jaipur and transfer to your hotel. Rest of the evening at leisure. Overnight stay at hotel in Jaipur.



Day 5 Jaipur : In the morning visit the impressive Amber Fort, situated on a ridge just outside Jaipur City. At the foot of the hill you will mount your caparisoned elephant for the slow but steady climb up to the main gate, making your entrance in the time honoured fashion. The Fort, completed in the early 18th century, took over 100 years to build and now, although deserted, offers a fascinating insight into the lifestyle of the Moghul Empire. in the afternoon tour the "Pink City", spectacularly set within surrounding rugged hills, dotted with ancient ruined fortresses.

Your tour will include the imposing City Palace, still home to the Maharaja although several of the rooms are now open to the public. Many antiques and artifacts belonging to the ruling family are housed here, including a collection of weaponry. You will also visit the Hawa Mahal "Palace of the Winds", and the open-air Jantar Mantar Observatory to see the vast astronomical instruments, many of them still in working condition. Enjoy a stroll through the colourful bazaars before returning to your hotel. Overnight stay at hotel in Jaipur.


Day 6 Jaipur - Pushkar : After a leisure breakfast drive to Pushkar which lies on the shores of Pushkar Lake. Pushkar boasts of five principal temples, many smaller temples and 52 ghats where pilgrims descend to the lake to bathe in the sacred waters.The Brahma temple is a Hindu temple dedicated to Lord Brahama and is said to be the only existing temple dedicated to Lord Brahama. It is built in marble, decorated with silver coins and a silver turtle on the floor of the temple. Overnight stay at Hotel in Pushkar..

Day 07 : Pushkar - Ajmer - Delhi : In the morning take a leisure drive to Ajmer (15 Km) & proceed for a seight-seeing tour of the city. Ajmer formerly known as Ajaya-meru ( invincible hill ) in Sanskrit was founded in the seventh century by Dushyant Chauhan. It is the most sacred of all Muslim places of pilgrimage in India. Ajmer was conquered by Muhammad of Ghor, founder of the Delhi Sultanate, in 1193 A.D. The Dargah Shareef situated at the foot of the Taragarh hill, is the burial ground of the Persian saint Khawaja Moinuddin Chishti who came with Muhammad Ghori from Persia in 1192 A.D. and settled here. The shrine was constructed by Humayun and the massive gates were donated by the Nizam of Hyderabad. Later Mughal Emperor Shah Jahan constructed the Akbari Masjid in white marble. The Adhai-din-ka-jhonpra, a Jain temple constructed in 1153 and converted into a mosque by Qutubuddin Aibak after 1193. Taragarh Fort, the fort of Ajmer, seat of the Chauhan rulers, is claimed to be the first hill fort of Asia, built at a time when the Aravalli mountain ranges were above the snowlines. This gives it the reputation of being one of the oldest hill forts of the world. Later transfer to railway station to board the air-conditioned train to Delhi.
Arrive Delhi, our representative will meet you at the railway station and transfer you to the hotel. Overnight stay at hotle in Delhi.

Day 08 : Udaipur - Delhi - Departure : Transfer to airport for your onward journey.
